Sony has yesterday confirmed the launch of the Playstation Store for PC. It will work like the PS3 version of the store, but will bring together content for the PSP, which you'll be able to access via your PC.

The site went live yesterday – and it launches packed with content. There are full game downloads including Beats and Go! Puzzle. You’ll find downloadable versions of existing PSP games such as B-Boy and Fired Up as well as a range of downloadable PS one classic titles that includes some longstanding favourites – think WipEout and Crash Bandicoot. There are also brand new playable demos like WipEout Pulse and Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow as well as trailers for forthcoming PSP titles – so you can try your hand at new games as well as watching what’s in store for the future.

Payment will also work in the same way as Playstation Store on PS3 and if you’ve already registered with Playstation Network via PS3, your login details will remain the same for PLAYSTATION Store on PC – so there’s no need to register again. You can manage your Playstation Network account via your PC – topping up the funds in your wallet, editing your personal profile or managing your friends list.

You can visit the Playstation store : here
