Underwater Wars is yet to find a publisher, but Biart Studios are hoping that they'll come flooding forward after their new action shooter went down well with attendees at the KRI 2007 (Russian Developers Conference) last week.

Underwater Wars isn't your typical army shooter. There will still be land- based battles, but large segments of the game will see you battling underwater in the guise of an elite group of Navy Seals as you battle to neutralise the threat of a Nuclear War. Amongst the underwater enemies you'll be up against are the Chinese Navy, H.O.U.N.D.S swimmers (heavy outfitted underwater navy's demolition specialists) and the torpedo-equipped DPRK suicide swimmers.

There are very few details released on the game as we speak, but the company has released a list of features:

Key features:

* for PC, XBOX360 platforms
* modern game engine
* historical background
* 12 missions
* squad based FPS with two viewmode
* two main characters (man and women)
* secret underwater weapons
* hydro accelerate system, mini submarines and etc
* three types of gameplay :
- underwater bases
- underwater operations
- ground/islands/town missions
- multiplayer mode

You can keep an eye on the game by visiting the official website.
