It's not everyday you see a shooter like this...

Sony's 'Everyday Shooter', which is rumoured to be available on the PSN tomorrow, is a brand new award winning title that captivated those who saw it at E3 earlier this year .

Everyday Shooter is a top down game similar to Asteroids. In it the player controls a small ship that must navigate eight different levels. On each level the gameplay dynamics change and the player must figure out how to proceed. As the player interacts with the environment their actions are causing music to be procedurally generated.

The game was developed by Jonathan Mak, using Visual C++ and has already won the following awards:

2007 Independent Games Festival: Design Innovation
2007 Independent Games Festival: Excellence In Audio
2007 Independent Games Festival: GameTap Indie Awards
